I put a tutorial about how to play Gilmore's gorgeous lead rides to Comfortably Numb on my YouTube channel - along with a separate keyboard track for other guitarists to use for rehearsal. Easily the crowd favorite when I was playing lead guitar (I generally play mandolin these days.)

I have been waiting for someone to shiv that Baron... Though I'm far from certain that's his last gasp. Interesting shapeshifter introduction.

This is a pretty action-intensive chapter with lots of scene-changes and shifts of perspective. Not an easy thing to pull off.

Thanks!! rbs

Whoa, didn't see that coming! Shapeshifters are so handy. The Baron got it easy. He deserved a lot worse.

Author's Response:

I agree wholeheartedly...

Yay Kutav! So good to see him regain some of his honor by saving Sandhurst at the last. I also liked the twist with the Chameloid, we don't see enough non-Founder shapeshifters in Star Trek!

I also loved Ramirez confrontation with the TI officer - especially when she told her to go to hell! Love it!

Author's Response:

Ramirez stood her ground, but that kind of stand has been known to end careers where TI is concerned.  And Kutav is nothing if not adept in the arts of self-preservation.  He didn't rescue Sandhurst out of a sense of honor so much as it was, in his estimation, his best opportunity to escape the Baron before his usefulness to the criminal had been exhausted.

I am so, so happy to see the Gibraltar coming back against a nearly-overwhelming force like that. Am also really glad to see the TI agent get swatted down like a fly.

Author's Response:

Things are still up for grabs here, but any advantage the crew can get (and for however long) is welcome.
