Interesting twists both with Juneau and Lar'ragos. Pehlan continues to be quite interesting. His position is unclear, but given his behavior when capturing Sandhurst, he might be on the level. I'm a big fan of good bad guys and bad good guys.
The Baron continues to delight as something that really needs getting rid of. And the monster and sentinals are intriguing.
Rameriz's promotion is a nice odd twist too - a reminder that the world just marches on while we're all wrapped up in other priorities.
Yeah, in the midst of all this mess even a long and eagerly awaited promotion falls flat for her. This mission has become quite the tutorial in the burdens of command for her.

Another great chapter as this story comes to a head. That final comment by Lar'ragos about needing a monster to catch a monster was chilling, and forboding for the path Pava is about to walk.
I thought you captured the bitter sweet sentiments of Ramirez' promotion perfectly, along with the feeling of desolation around the ship when she returns. Gibraltar has really been through the wars here, and it shows!
I also really liked Juneau's little pass-pass trick, getting rid of any evidence of her presence before passing the buck back to Olivia. Nicely done!
Pava's harboring no illusions about what he was, what he is, and what he may still do if pushed far enough. The most damning thing about his comment is that it’s absolutely true.
The crew’s been through hell and back, and this ordeal is far from done.Juneau’s Operative persona is clever, I’ll give her that. Staying hidden for as long as she has is difficult work, and we still don’t know how far she’ll ultimately go to keep her secret.
Thanks again for reading!

Maybe all that time living on the dark side has given Pava a unique insight. Also glad to see the Orion come to his senses.
Kutav's nothing if not a survivor... and he's unwilling to bet his life on whether the Baron's a man of his word.
